Schedule

Coming events and Classes

Typically, we do schedule all-day or half-day online practice sessions, one or two per month. October hasn't been scheduled yet. We'll have notes about that here, and will try to keep this up to date. If you would like to be on a list to be notified of practice sessions and/or classes, please write me at ngejungzoo@gmail.com, or through the contact section of this website.

Meditation instruction
...
is scheduled individually. Introductory instruction is available for anyone and is scheduled individually or in small groups, free of charge. Please allow an hour and a half for discussion of the intention, technique, a little practice, and further discussion.

Thursday, September 26, 6:30 pm, the Shambhala Teachings

This class on the Shambhala teachings (for graduates of Shambhala Training level 5 or equivalent) will take place at the regular time (6:30 pm ET for sitting, 7:05 pm - 8:45 pm for class talks and discussion). This will be our last Thursday meeting of this class. We will continue with these Shambhala teachings on Saturdays from 10:30 am ET to 12:45 pm, beginning Saturday October 5

Saturday September 28, 10:30 am ET - 3 pm with breaks: Recitation of Karma Lingpa's Great Liberation Through Hearing in the Bardo text (The Tibetan Book of the Dead)

All are welcome. We will read as much of the root text as we can, with little commentary. Please don't be put off by all the new words that you will encounter, you'll most likely get the gist of it. Strangely enough, many people of all persuasions have felt deep connection to this text -- it's rather unpredictable. In the class to follow, beginning Thursday October 3, we'll be unpacking the meaning of the text and what it has to do with our everyday lives. The recording of this will be available.

Thursday, October 3, 6:30 pm ET (sitting) 7:05-8:45 pm for talks and discussions. This will be our first class meeting of the "Great Liberation" class, The Tibetan Book of the Dead. These sessions are open to all, but please write me at ngejungzoo@gmail.com for the link and further information about the class. All class sessions will be recorded and available to those enrolled in the class.

Saturday, October 5, 10:30 am ET (practice), 11:05-12:45 pm (class and discussions): This will be our first advanced Shambhala teachings class on the Saturday meeting schedule. For graduates of Shambhala Training Level 5 or equivalent. Please contact me at ngejungzoo@gmail.com for more information.
